1st Corfu Open Dance Cup

[vc_images_carousel images=”15823,15825″ img_size=”full” slides_per_view=”2″][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]The month is starting strongly for the dance schools The Dance Club The Mall of Dance with the 1^st Corfu Open Dance Cup. The first dance competition in Corfu was successfully organized and took place at the Municipal Theatre, close to the unique area of the Old Town, which was created in 1902 to meet the demands of a growing audience. 400 dancers from 23 schools and clubs took part in the competition. Entries reached the astonishing number of 1000 in 140 categories![/vc_column_text][vc_images_carousel images=”15840,15843″ img_size=”full” slides_per_view=”2″][vc_column_text]This competition could be considered diverse since it included all categories (solo, duos, trios, teacher – student, couples and also large teams) in all types of dance! Of course, there were no shortage of battles and shows in which the dancers gave their best to stand out. A large number of participants arrived from various areas of Corfu, Patras, Volos, Thessaloniki and of course there was no lack of participation from our schools. In particular, The Dance Clubs of Patras, Zografou, Alimos and Agioi Anargyri participated, which excelled in various categories.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]More specifically, The Dance Club by Patras school had the following rankings per student:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

As every other time, despite the fatigue of the competition, our enthusiasm did not let us not take advantage of Saturday night. We visited the historic shop in the Old Town, Chanchamini. Food, drink and dancing, if nothing else, along with a great party and mood that raised the shop.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Dance is the “common language” that unites people. Through dance we know the beautiful aspects of ourselves, develop our abilities, set goals that the path to achieve them is the most fun. But in The Dance Club each one individually, works as if he belongs to a big family, and the family is always by your side in all the moments of your life.
