Paso Doble

Paso Doble: Dynamic & Passionate Movements

Pasodoble was a way for the French to illustrate the techniques used in Spanish bullfighting.

Pasodoble includes steps that resemble those used in bullfighting and is known as one of the fastest dances of the Latin Ballroom because the dancers make about 120 to 130 beats per minute.

The name “Paso Doble” means “two steps” and refers to the characteristic successive pace of the dance (left-right-left-right…).

It is a dance full of energy, with strict and powerful movement. A proud, arrogant and adventurous dance. The movements are decisive and radiate dynamism and passion.
